Well I wouldn't say NEED because my buddies doesn't go over 212 usually... but definatly a great idea I'm begining to think lol.... mine runs a lil warmer

Yea I definatly have a problem other than my fan... I've been riding it since feb and haven't had any problems till recently...

But definatly going to get another fan... just shouldn't need it to run in normal tempertures...especially just cruisin around in 6th to cool it down like I've always done...

Mine was exceptionally hard to get the air out of. Wherever the air pocket was, it didn't come out fully till I did a nice long street ride

I want to bump this thread cause I'm having problems with mine.....brand new radiator to r6 fans that blow in the right direction new radiator cap also with a 05 636 radiator on it what gives...... I run my idle up to 4500

Sounds like you may have air in the system.

I just tilt mine side to side then I run the bike with the cap off for a minute or two while squeezing the hoses.

After all that I put the cap on and run the bike up to normal operating temperature then I let it cool and check the level.
