I did a whole thread when I made mine, you should check it out. I used 1" 4130, .096" thick. So far its held up.


That gsxr is neat, it's cool to see other bikes besides kawis with steel frames!

Well my bike is almost done, the swinger is chromed and some parts got powdercoated. New seats this year and she will be ready for more savage rape next year.

I just weighed it and mine is 425 wet. SF, full steel frame, full steel subframe and cage. Not too bad!
