Powder coat gas tank?

Ive coated a few, its better then paint IMO...
This one was black with flake clear top coat

Well I'm going to run no fairings again for a bit and I've got some ideas for it, and my last bike I ran nice fresh paint on my rebuild and the first day I rode it gas leaked out of my tank and fucked up my clean ass tank dent I was ready to murder lok

what kinda prep when into making sure the tank was completely fume free.

I dented it, then had is sand blasted, then washed out the inside ...That took a few days and by then it was fume free...
