Hope it don't change you man. I hated every single CO when I was in. Got a few friends who became CO's and within a year they were assholes too.

Good money and job security thou from what I hear.

+1112009 i was going to say the same thing. most likey it will change you, just dont do the inmates wrong because you can. couple good friends that are co and they tell me the stories that go on and how they fuck people up and im like ...not cool. and ive been in and just constant disrespect because you know you can get away with it. congratulations its a great job just dont let the job take over

Lol of course getting into a 5/0 position I would get some hate. Nah Im pretty straight up and never think Im above anyone else by no means. Its a job to me, not something that Im going to be some fucking asshat. I have to take it professionally and give all inmates some respect, in return they need to give some back. (highly doubt it) lol

I have 4 kids and a wife and working at a motorcycle shop isnt cutting it anymore. and Im the type of guy that can get along with anyone and very laid back and level headed. Thanks for all the best of lucks I was hoping to get some inside views about it.

its a difficult job, depending on where you will be working in my area, my buddy works at sing sing, attica, and one other maxium sercurity, he has to live there for like 3-4 days at a time, depending on his hours. idk what type of justice center or prison youll be at, please share.
