A few years back I made a thread about the cost of setting up a stunt bike COMPLETELY. I mean EVERY part stunt part you could be to fully build it. I believe the cost in parts was around $2500-3000.

Now there are more parts, frames, and some more expensive. So I would say the cost would be close to like 4k to fully build a stunt bike.

Oh and that's a stock bike build with all parts at retail.

Bought my f4i $3200 SF setup. Changed a few things on it. Between parts ive changed, maintenance, and things ive had to fix ive probably spent another 3-4k in a year and a half of stunting so probably about 7ish.
Overall stuntriding has probably cost me over 10000 for a year and a half of riding between bike, setting it up, repairs, maintenance, traveling to events, gas, hotels, things like that.

I havnt mentioned the $2k for hospital visits for a broken leg....

bought my f4i in july for 3500 sf, spent maybe 50 dollars in metal to add on my weak cage and an other 30 for some extra clip on tube and then gaz money for the truck

I feel a bit better now after reading all your guys numbers. I'm the fucking stunt jew king. My current stunt bike was ~3000. $2200 for a naked, ratty '01 zx6r, $350ish for a SI cage. It came with some ghetto ass homemade 12 bar. $150 for a rear sprocket. Definitely just 'spliced' in like 3 or 4 links from another chain because who the fuck wants to buy a new one Then i found an r6 radial handbrake master for like $120, gptech handbrake junction for like $50, brake line for like $30. I had to buy like 3 of those fucking large monster energy drinks before i finally managed to turn one into a sturdy coolant overflow bottle, those were like $3.50 a piece lol. Random shit and paint etc a couple bucks more.

New stunt bike, $1900 for a 03 cbr600rr trackbike. Shitty old tygershark cage ~$75. Hohey dual cal bracket ~$75. 60t rear sprocket found in buddies basement, probably like $50. Honda front caliper found in same basment with brake lines for handbrake ~$50. New SI round bar ~$160. So far its definitely looking like the 600rr is gonna be way cheaper than the zx6r due to an abundance of used shit in people's basements/garages lol. Found a tank cover/tail fairing for like $120
