636 Kleen Air Mod with Power Commander

Hey all,

Have an 04 636 stunted out, bike pulls really well, much better than other 636's from what ive been told. It was a race bike before and has power commander tuned to suit.

Done the Kleen Air Mod last night and took it for a spin today. Alot of the time down low it bogs real bad, and also when snap the throttle and roll off. Not all the time but the majority.

Could the Kleen Air Mod affect the fueling with the pc? I routed the rocker valve to the crank, plugged the vacuum onto the throttle bodies, plugged the hole in airbox that the rocker routed to, and plugged the hole in airbox that the crank routed to. I think that was everything done right yes?

Anyone have a pc on an 03/04 and done the mod?

You may have forgot to plug something back in, or accidentally unplugged something.

all that needs to be plugged is the vacuum, and the two holes in the airbox isnt it thou? im gonna whack in a set of new plugs anyway as theyre due but seems weird it happened just after i done the mod

What I meant was perhaps you unplugged something while taking it apart.

yeah maybe so, ill strip it again tomorrow and make sure. might not have seated throttle bodies right.

but really it shouldnt affect power commander as the air intake hasnt really changed

Plug off all the lines on the left of the throttle bodies, cap the inlet air pressure sensor, then cap the 3 on the air box total 8 caps.

Just sticking a screw in the one vacuum line that comes off the air valve will do the job.

I did that and my bike was running like shit. Then i re did the air mod my way and the bike ran fine, his bike is doing what mine did and it had to do with the inlet air pressure sensor cause once i unplug my sensor the bike ran fine but when plug in it ran like shit. But once i re did the mod i could keep the sensor plug in and it ran fine.

Sounds like you had a vacuum leak.

gonna strip it tonight and make sure everything is seating properly and all plugged in. if the throttle bodies were not fully seated and letting a leak in that would prob do it aswell..

but anyway power commander shouldnt be affected by this mod yes?
