So I'm pretty sure this is fairly common.... I'll be in a long wheelie and the oil light will pop on, sometimes I'll even bomb the road with smoke. From what I understand oil is backfeeding and running into my airbox? Someone please explain this and what I need to do to beat the light!

Just looked at a few of your posts and it looks like you ride an r6. If I remember correctly, the r6 doesn't have an oil pressure light, it just has an oil level light.
With an oil level sensor the light will tend to come on because when you are in a wheelie the oil sloshes to the back of the motor so there is no real problem there.
As far as the oil going into the airbox and making a smoke screen goes take b rups advice and do the clean air mod before you blow up your motor from a hydro lock.
Also saw that you mentioned in another thread the bike wasn't pulling very good in the high revs, alot of people replace the coils. The stock r6 coils tend to fail, I'm not positive about this but I think people replace them with gsxr coils. Some one correct me if I'm wrong cause I can't say for sure if it's gsxr coils or not.

Roger you're correct it's not a pressure light it's just a dummy light for oil level. I'll prolly get around to doing the mod but from what I hear, hydrolock on the R6 isn't very common..... Any truth to that? Secondly, I'm not so much worried about hydrolock as I am starving the cylinders of oil.... If the oil light is going off it's telling me that there's not enough oil around the pick-up.... Correct?

Not sure which year R6 is prone to coil fail or not sure which year GSXR coil to replace them with???

You mentioned you occasionally bomb the road with smoke, this means you are either getting oil in the airbox [bad] or you already have the clean air mod and the oil is going out your exhaust[good].
As far as the light goes it means you don't have oil near the sending unit, the pick up is much lower than the oil level sending unit.

And on the R6 the sensor is in front of the pick up on the oil pan. '03 was the year that they issued the service bulletin for the coils. And R6 coils are bad, it's the fact the '03 had bad coils because they switched from mitsu to shitty denso coils. Then they switched back in '04 to the mitsu coils. They will go bad from time to time but that can happen with any bike. I tried running the GSXR coils on my '03, want to say they were off an '07. IDK it didn't do shit but make the bike run worse and have less pull on idle. I tried 3 different sets of those GSXR denso coils and none worked as good as the mitsu coils that came out in the first place. IMHO the mitsu coils in good working order are the better coils for the R6 than the GSXR Denso coils. Mitsu coils with an CR9EK plug and you should be good on spark.
So to some up the coil thing
Denso coils= poop('03 R6)
mitsu coils=pull(Every other R6)
yamaha and kawi come with mitsu coils. Honda and suzuki come with Denso. Specs vary a little, like resistance values and such. Surprised no one has tried any coils out of another bike like the 636 or something, they all have the same connector. Only thing you might have to do is move the rubber boot up or down at the top of the coil. Had to move it down a little bit for the GSXR coils they are a little taller overall.
