So does this happy pretty much on every deep tank dent, what are you guys doing about the gap.

alot of ppl use a heatgun to mold the plastic parts on the tank..

its actually nice lol the only thing i did different is the spot between the legs I dont like when i sit backwards and it hitting my tail bone once i get bondo and smooth it out its looks good.

I did that for comfort for me, No real reason other then it feels better when sitting rev on the seat when riding backwards once i smooth it out you wont notice it as much.

Looks like you butchered the tank, if you dent it properly you shouldn't have any problem with the gap at all.
