thinking about making the bar adjustable

feels good where it is
(bar height matches my stock dent lip) but why not make it so that i can drop or raise it.

going to try it without closing it in with a plate
then with some rubber tubing wraped around the bar and close it in with duct tape to see how to feels having a softer sitting area..if that works well do a leather,nylon soft dent

That thing looks like it will destroy your ass cheeks if you rat trap,high side or low side but it looks like a fantastic sitting area I would just plate the inside with sheet metal and call it good but now thinking about it you don't think it will have to much play in the way the bar will move compared to a solid one? Idk I'm just spitballing I might sound retarded idk there's a big safety meeting in my garage right now so haha
