In late May I picked this beauty up as a project bike, intending to replace a lot of parts, do a lot of modifications, and build it exactly the way I want it. This will be an ongoing process but for a while progress is gonna be pretty fast.

Here she is when I first picked her up

And a picture of the bike before I bought it

I'll update this section with some pictures later but for now I'll just say that she's been laid down twice on the right side since I bought her. Once because I let my friend David ride it and he laid it out on the first corner, and once because some @#$%& pulled in front of me and I had to swerve and lay it down

The upside to all this is that I get to buy new parts and upgrade everything! David's paying to replace some of the parts that he broke, due to the fact that the frame sliders, clutch sliders, bar ends, fork sliders, and swingarm spools I installed after he crashed protected the bike from too much further damage.

So for now I'll just show you what I've bought so far!

These smoke flush mount blinkers from McCoy Motorsports are gonna look sick with the fresh black plastic

She was missing some of the fairing bolts when I bought her and when David crashed he ground down some of the bolts that hold the oil pump cover on so I sprang for a full monty black aluminum bolt kit from Pro-Bolt. I like how it came with lots of extras

My mirrors were torn to shreds, and I really liked the look of the Rizoma's but not the price tag so I went with these Taiwanese copies from BikeMaster.

But once I got them out of the package I saw this

Oh well Back in the package they go. The place I got them from seems to have a pretty good return policy so hopefully they'll exchange them with no issues.

And then of course the re-gearing kit, I went -1 in the front and +2 in the back. I'm loving the look of this rear sprocket!
