night shooting?

just picked up a canon rebel t3 and this is my first dslr camera so im adjusting to all the new options....from what ive read the lens that it comes with isnt really set up for night shots with action...what are you guys using as far as lenses, settings, lighting etc?

my boy has that camera but i dont think he shoots at night!! i have a dslr camera as well and i jus stand closer then usual to take nigjt shots but i do miss alot of pictures because the camera wont snap every time u hit the button

Man this thing is killer is user friendly and takes great shots.... Def glad I bought it.... And yea I get closer to get the night shots and have gotten decent ones of my friends riding but I know it's not the best that this camera can do I'll upload some when I get home

yea def upload some...are you using the package lens? 18-55mm?

Yea It works killer during day shots And u can't beat the price
