So as alot of you know andrew/A2k is doing up his 05 R6 this season with the new r6 plastics. All custom with race plastics, and a front seat only.
So he sent me a seat for a 08 R6 he wanted all custom.
He was requesting a 3inch tall hump,3 inches in from the back, at a 45 degree angle.
Basically a tail saver built into the seat.
If your familiar with this seat then you know the crazy angles of the rear,and you'd know why i told him that was going to be damn near impossible to make sturdy enough out of foam. lol
So anyway this is what I came up with for him.
A completely custom, never done before (as far as i know),a seat with a Tailsaver built right in!!
Figured the angle, and the placement, then made a steel bracket with a solid plastic face, and a bracket for the bottom so it does'nt rip thru the plastic pan,and then finally wrapped it all in foam and shaped it out .
