Body transformation (bodybuilding)

Over the winter I was planning on doing a bit of exercising to keep my body conditioned for the next season....but I actually ended up getting obsessed with weight training and dieting and this was the result of my hard work and proper nutrition:

Actually I probably have the worst genes for this type of thing because in order to put on the amount of muscle that I did, I was consuming 3200 calories daily for 13 weeks. I think the average american consumes roughly 2000 calories. Believe me, its not easy sticking to a perfectly calculated and strict diet. But its worth it

. Yea it is a lot of work - mostly within the diet part of it.

I'm thinking someday I could put enough weight on me to try and compete in a lightweight competition or something....but I dont know If I'll ever get to that point. I'd have to weigh like 160-170, while at 4-5% bodyfat in order to qualify for anything. But side note - I would never consider using steroids to achieve that, so it will take awhile

I was 6'4" 180# coming out of high school.....I went directly to Army Infantry basic training and gained 5#......I tried to eat enough to gain weight and it was pointless......time will do it for me......now at 35 I'm 215# still active and competitive but just not a gym guy.....rather go for a run or chop wood all day.....but do you man

Cool beans : I fixed it

Yea it's unfortunute that most of us(especially me) are not gifted with good genes of lean muscular bodies....but anything is possible though with hard work, which is what I finally figured out.

you guys have similar builds. low body mass + low body fat. Real easy to stay lean and add on the weight.
