Air injection control valve on an F4I

if what you are talking about is the stock part which most people use to do the clean air mod instead of a T tube, then i cut the wire, its no longer attached to the main harness
anyway, i stripped down the engine today, found out that 2-3 disks from the clutch are broken and rod #3 had broken and had grenaded into the engine case as most you guys assumed i didnt manage to remove the flywheel and clutch as i dont have a rotor puller and a clutch center holder is there any way to remove those without the tools or i need to buy the tools? ![]()

the cylinders were clean
its funny coz i bought this bike in 2009, somewhere in august and i opened the engine last month and saw the tshirt ... the engine has run perfectly during all this time what a rod cannot break if you revlimit that shit 4-5 minutes? whats your input on those two tools to remove the flywheel and clutch ?

You're gonna fix that motor? You could probably buy a used one cheaper

yea i will try if not i will buy another f4i
the germans are crazy when it comes to engine prices ... one f4/f4i is at least 600 eur i paid like 100 eur for the rods, crankshaft and the engine case, the case is not good but probably i will turn it into a small coffee table ![]() the welding is 100 eur tops, so im good with 200 eur, if everything goes fine of course

so today i got the case from the welder, i hope it will hold
so then i went to the garage, cleaned the case and put in the pistons rods and shaft and assumed that top dead center is when piston 1 and 4 are at the top of the cylinder - that was to me the only way for the rods to be straight i tighten the the rods to 25nm as written in book i then tried to rotate the shaft but i couldnt could this be because of the new set of rods&pistons which might not be aligned to the cylinder? or i did some stupid shit ... |
