hhaha yea it was a tshirt inside! i couldnt believe either .. for sure it was put there for a reason, coz no one can forget a shirt in an engine ... a screw maybe, you drop it

i am sorry coz i didnt take a picture my hands was dirty

the pickup was there in place when i first removed the pan, and the reason was to do the pickup oil mod ... the sheet of aluminum i bought was garbage, threw it away and left it like that, but of course whitout the tee

i, then, saw that the pickup oil wasnt holding very good in that hole, but i thought its normal ... i now dont anymore

@oldmanroger - I could see 16000rpms building enough oil pressure to send oil out the crankcase breather, your correct.



A T-shirt in the oil pan? WTF? The vacuum from the oil pickup probably tryed to suck up the t-shirt and caused the oil to accumulate in the pan and not get circulated.

If the motor still turns over with no "noise" and by noise I assume you mean compression then you have no compression. Which means air is bypassing the piston or your valves which branches off to alot of different problems. Are these interference motors?

no dude it happened like this

1. winter rebuild - found a tshirt in my pan - took it out
2. saw that the pickup wasnt tight in there -thought its normal
3. put new oil bla, finished the bike, synced the injectors bike was running like a pimp
4. blew the engine the second day of riding

Something must have not been right with the oil pickup then. The crankcase pressure from revlimiter must have found that error. Did you tear down the motor yet? Is the reciprocating assembly still in tact?

Judging by the hole in the block I would assume a bent connecting rod at the very least, probably a broken rod though.

something had snapped inside, otherwise my starter woudlnt have been dented and the hole from the engine is upwards, vulcano like

i will rip it apart this weekend see whats up inside
