if im messing around on apps i can literally almost watch mine die on my brand new 4s.. im hoping a couple more full discharge complete recharges will help.. idk what the deal is but i havnt been able to make it a full day of txtn gaming pandora and web search.. im lucky i can leave it plugged into my comp at work all day to charge it

Turn "auto locator" off and turn down the brightness it helped me I get 8hours of usage xm radio, pandora, Facebook, and postwhoring and still have 20+ % life left

I haven't read the whole thread. But if your. Battery life sucks are you remembering to close out all your open apps. Double tap the home button and it will bring up the open/running apps. Press one and hold it untill it wiggles and close it out. I had that problem on my iPad 2 and it got to the point where it wouldent even charge overnight. Now that. Close out all open/runnin apps it has no problems charging or holding a charge. Just my . Sorry if it's been posted or if you tried that. Bul like I said. I haven't read the whole thread

Apps don't stay running. They go dormant. Open a map program that uses the gps and then hit the home key. The location notifier at the top will go away, meaning the program shuts down and kills the gps. I never end my apps and it doesn't affect my battery.

i turned off virtually every auto running thing the phone has along with the brightness and have been pretty impressed on the differnce it made

all mine stay running and i got to manually shut down each app i open or it dies even faster
