Fitting new r6 fairings on the r6s

Does anybody have any info on what's required to do this swap?

I'm wanting to run the new r6 fairings on the old r6s like this:

Dont come close to lining up whatsoever. Need a custom subframe and upperstay and a few brackets..........stay tuned to c4 revolutions.....

take into account the major differences in the frame

the ram air on the r6 is in the middle of the frame vs the on the side on the r6s

as far as the mounting points on the frame you will have to fab metal brackets to fit

the subframe is slimmer on the r6 so fitting a tail fairing will be a nightmare.

honestly its going to be real difficult to get everything mounted.

u have to use race farings, stock faring wont work, and like A2K, stay tuned to C4-revolutions.

Staying tuned to stunt companies could be an indefinite wait

I read some of your posts in your thread, is he going to be making a kit with brackets, stay, subframe? Does he have any definitive time schedule?

He will be making a whole kit that uses the 08 fromt seat fairings and all the cosmetics. Not sure on timeline yet but i know he is busting his ass to get some stuff as soon as he can.

when is dave getting started back up? last i heard he was taking some time off but that was like a year ago. i want some c4 swag for my r6. as for the fairing issues it seems like bill d. has a video somewhere that he put out a couple years back about his bike build? might try to find that.

^^ im sure those were the shitty 06 07 plastics.....and his new set up prolly has about 3-4000 in billet.....
