\r\n \r\n I don\'t know what\'s the difference between girls and boys knee pads?
\nI wear which I like! I have 661 D30 knee pads and I just don\'t feel them at all, it\'s perfect for ride and it doesn\'t move!\r\n

\nThere\'s no difference, most (if not all) are unisex. Mine were crappy, too big and always fell down. So I wanted suggestions from girls on which ones they liked since girls tend to have thinner legs haha. No girls answered so I asked what the guys with thinner legs thought for their suggestions.

\nI just ordered the Dainese can\'t wait for them to come in. \r\n

\r\n \r\n I got the Dainese in the mail. They def don\'t move BUT they dont cover the side area of my knee which is the part that hits/rubs. hrmmm. Haven\'t ridden in em yet...\r\n

\r\n \r\n My biggest concern is the front of my knee/knee cap so the lack of side coverage shouldn\'t be too big a problem for me, would be nice to have tho. Let us know how you like your Dainese after riding in em for a while :\r\n

\nas a squidly squid, here is my assessment:
\n
\nPros: i LOVE these as far as comfort and movement...i can barely tell that i have them on and they do not budge! theyre also nice and slender and fit securely around my leg with plenty of velcro to tighten them up. they\'re not bulky and could be worn over or under clothes. i also think theyre cute haha.
\n
\nNeutral: as far as protection, theyre pretty good. when i got my first knee pads (alpine stars) i stood up and slowly dropped to my knees (hold the jokes) to see how they felt. i could stand up straight and fall to my knees and they were like air clouds. i did the same test with the dainese and they werent quite as cushy. no biggie. they def still protect my knee caps and obv not as cushy since they are not as bulky.
\n
\nCons: side of the knee protection. this is probably just a personal issue. but when i do foot on seat and staggered, the inner parts of my knees rub or hit the tank as i come down. i know since i\'m learning this is a body position error, and happens when i let off throttle too quick or hit brake too hard. but it\'s an important aspect of the knee pad for me. after riding with these knee pads for 3 sessions, the inside of my knee was bruised and tender. :-(
\n
\nRecommended for people that can ride and want max movement. great for skinny legs. no bueno for squids that rub the inside of knee on bike.\r\n

I have alpine star, one size fits all, low $ knee pads and the velcro is way too long. i either have to criss cross the straps or it just barely velcros on when they are strapped how they should be. the knee area flops all around, always have to adjust em. pain it the bum.

^these ones. I wanna order a new pair, but i hate not knowing how something is going to fit, returning, yada yada.

curious what other ladies use for knee/shin protection??? i'm average to slender build. and i'm tall (5'9). i know someone said they used kids ones, but im thinkin those would be too short on my leg? lemme hear it....
