Other then that looks awesome

Header wrap holds in more heat then ceramic coating.

You can grab onto a wrapped header, I wouldn't try it with a ceramic coated header!

Ceramic is more for if you want THAT specific look, and want to insulate it a little bit. Header wrap is the best though!
I personally like the look of header wrap. Hell I wrapped my header and mid pipe just for the look!

edit: Hell, I'd be interested to see how much ceramic coating ACTUALLY drops temperatures.. Is it like a few degree difference? Or is it significant? I kind of always looked at it, as being more for looks..
Not saying it doesn't help at all, but how much could it really help?

I could grab onto my mid pipe with wrap on it. I had a high mount though, so I HAD to have it wrapped or burn the shit out of my girl lol

Come on now towlieee i expect more from you. Think about it.

With ceramic coating, theres nothing wrapped around the headers, your essentially touching the metal surface.
With wrap your putting cloth around the pipe so of course you can grab it on the outside. All it does is dissipate the heat from the outside into the wrap. Doesnt mean that the temperatures on the inside are any better.

Rowdy needs to chip in here cuz im sure he knows alot about this:

the wrap keeps the heat in your exhaust till it exits the pipe instead of letting it dissipate into everything surrounding it. there is nothing wrong w/ header wrap. ceramic looks nice and im sure it helps too but im a tight ass and i can wrap my header in my back yard in 30 mins, for 15 bux.
