radial calipers

gsxr, 600rr, 1000rr, 636/zx6r all use tokico front radial calipers, are they all the same?? So when buying from ebay i can just get those who are cheapest?

There different but you can make spacers to fit em.

some are better than others...people like the nissin ones but also most i think are 100mm apart but i think brembo or some types are 108....

look for 600rr calipers. pads are cheaper. 5mm spacers are usually what's needed. depending on application.

Tokico calipers have those 4 little pads where as the Nissin has one pad on each side. Like 1997f3 said they are cheaper to replace pads.

tokico from a gsxr ony has one 1 pad each side.. its the 636 that uses 2 pads each side..
and remember that a 636 only has 280mm disks..

WRONG

ALL Radial Kawasaki Tokico or Nissin calipers have 4 pads per caliper

The Suzuki and Honda Tokico has only 2 pads per side

This^^^ Im running the 05-06 600RR calipers for that exact reason.

Umm you kinda have this mixed up......All the Japanease bikes use 108mm mount spacing, even if you have Brembo calipers like I do on a jap bike its 108mm spacing....100mm are used on European bikes like Ducati and BMW's etc, those will not fit on any of the hand brake brackets I have seen on the market as of yet...Everyone seems to be using the 108mm mount

All the 108mm calipers have the same offset from mouting bolts centres to the center of the rotors, but they have different offset from top to bottom. Due to the different bikes having longer or shorter mounting posts on the fork bottoms......That is why some require spacers to be fit between the caliper and the fork bottoms...If you have a FTI bracket he supplies 2 sets of spacers and instructions on which ones are to be used with the calipers you have...

And as mentioned HONDA calipers are the best choice because they have the cheapest OEM pads...Usually half the price of Kawi or Suzuki
