DCP Cage Clarification....Congo and all

\r\n \r\n What you are purchasing is a radiator cage and 2nd fan mounting brackets.

\nIf you run into someone else that has a lower bracket, ask them to see there second fan mount, because it wont be there. We did away with one thing and included another.
\n
\n We have not included a lower bracket for a LONG time because people werent using them, I beefed up the top mounts to avoid bends and the 2 fan mount brackets were more requested. Congo when you purchased yours you got what everyone else gets, the support and 2nd fan mounts. If you broke your stock bracket I\'ll see if I can get one to you. Let me know. I havent been on here in a while and am real busy so excuse the delayed response on here.

Its just a straight piece of aluminum with a hole in it right? Im not looking at my bike so i cant confirm this but if so you dont need a machine shop. go to home depot or lowes and get a small piece of steel and cut it and drill the 2 holes you need and your good to go \r\n

you wrong brah, it does come with the lower bracket. and its made of steel not aluminum like the stock one. its basically just an L shape. you could find a piece of metal and bend it up, drill a couple holes and be good to go.\r\n

I order a f4i DCP rad cage about 5 months ago. I didnt even realize that it was missing a piece, because it had been broken off of my old rad. I took a good look at my rad about 3 or 4 weeks ago and noticed that the tabs are starting to bend again! . I showed the guys at the lot, that all have the same rad cage, and they informed me that the cage was supposed to come with a steel lower mount. Mine was completely missing this mount, and my top rad points are bending. It sucks, I paid 85 bucks for this and its still messin up. I tried calling DCP to see if I could get one sent out to me, but not luck with phone calls or messages. I sent a PM to Talon, and I received one message back asking for my addy, and that I would be sent another one. That was 3 or 4 weeks ago, and now I get no responses back.

Hopefully I dont fuk my radiator too bad while I wait... if I even get anything. I only got one brief response back and havent seen or heard anything. Im dissapointed, I really want to like the product... I wish Talon would make it all better and send me a lower rad cage support that is supposed to come with the product. My shit is ziptied, with the rad cage still on it! Kind of dumb...
