F4i front brake vs. 900rr's?

\r\n \r\n some people kill it with a stock F4i master, taht being said if you want to upgrade i\'d get a radial master off of a newer bike!\r\n

\r\n \r\n Nothing wrong with f4i master. Seems a bit more spongey without braided brake lines but with them it has no issues. Run it myself without braided lines and if properly bled works a charm!\r\n

Is there any other difference in F4i vs. 900rr\'s master front brake cylinder than internal/external brake resevoir? Any idea of those master cylinders piston diameter etc?
\r\n
\r\nJust wondering if I\'d put 900rr\'s brake perch into my F4i...

\r\n
\r\nEDIT: 900rr is -97 (SC33) and F4i is -05. F4i\'s MC is 16mm.

I saw few pics of F4i with external front brake resevoir -> thinked that original perch is garbage I also have -97 900rr as a part donator already.

\nI\'m building FF stuntbike of my F4i and external front brake resevoir would be good with FF... Also found that -97 900rr\'s MC is 14mm instead of F4i\'s 16mm, just thinking how does it change the feel?\r\n

\r\n \r\n Ok, I think that I\'ll leave it that way and get a radial perch in the future if necessary. Thanks!\r\n

\r\n \r\n a 954rr master works great on the cheep for replacement, and has a remote reservoir. they are also 11/16 i believe (which is almost the same as 16mm) and work well on your calipers\r\n

\r\n \r\n Why would you want the external reservoir? I had an external reservoir on my bike and it got torn off when it rolled so now i\'m running a front master with the built in res. It seems more bullet proof, whats the plus for the external?\r\n

Just tought if there would be any advantage for changing 900rr\'s perch and external resevoir would be easier to place with FF.

\nBut with this information i got I\'ll go with the stoch perch.\r\n
