The other day my mom had to meet me near my work ( i was on the bike that day). On the way there she watched a bike smoke the back end of some car, and then another car plowed into him. Messy.

+1-- I have a summer house in P.A. and they dont have helmet laws either-so I went out for a ride with just shades on and because I didnt have mirrors on my bike I went to look back at the car behind me and the wind blew my ray-ban sunglasses off and the car behind me ran them over-$200 down the drain-never again-lesson learned

lol thats irony at its best...i was a squid once and didnt wear a helmet...but now that i grew up a bit and lost a few friends i ALWAYS wear my helmet...i dont understand why you guys say the wind bothers your eyes...to be honest i like to rip the visor off my lid cause scuffs on the visor make my eyes hurt trying to look past them...sometimes ill wear glasses with them and sometimes not.../shrug i feel like i can see better that way...and yes i have caught a bug or two in the eye but it didnt phase me to bad.

Exactly! Always wear a helmet myself, but if I dont want to I should have the freedom to kill myself in anyway I choose. Like its illegal to commit suicide. personally, I think all protestors need to be shot. Weather I am for their cause or not, anyone that would not show up for work to protest is a waste of space. I drove past a rode 2 weeks ago. There was about 10 people out front with signs and about 1000 people inside the grounds. I'm not sure anyone even knows the losers were outside.
