hey i just got my rsc lever and put it on adjusted it . i love how easy it is to pull . i did already do the clutch mod to my 02 954 .
when pulled all the way into the bar it just barly dosent drag[as in its barly not catching at the red light] and when fully out it dosent slip but it dosent have the 1/8'' of play that i like to run.

i was thinkn of takeing off the clutch mod and welding it back to stock . just wondering if anyone else has had this proublem.

Your runnin the ragged edge of butteryness, buddy!

You can either run an RSC spacer, and maintain your current ease of pull.....or you might have to take a bit out of that clutch arm mod. I do suggest atleast 1/16" of freeplay in your lever. LMK what you decide to do!

Designed wrong? I have the Original RSC and it works just fine. The spacer was not made because the RSC was designed wrong. STFU and Proceed to bang head into wall for saying anything at all negative about RSC

What other easy pull out there compares to the quality and ease of pull? None? What other easy pull gives you lever length options? None? What other easy pull out there gives you options to make the lever most the most comfortable it can be for a specific riders style or riding?

The only reason a spacer was "needed" w/ an OG RSC on any bike, was most likely due to slightly warped clutch plates. Everyone that has put in a new clutch pack has eliminated any engagement issues. The RSC was designed originally to work w/ flat, non-warped clutch packs. It needed the spacer to deal w/ clutch packs that were out of spec. The new redesigned RSC can handle these issues w/ out the spacer. I've always had a 100% satisfaction garauntee, or your $ back........and only 3 people have returned their RSCs in 2 years. Sounds like you may have been pissed for no reason.

The way i see it being designed wrong is... if i put my rsc up to my old raptor, the rsc lever is a good half inch closer to the clipon then the raptor, which looses that much clutch movement. And its not clutch plates when its the same on all 3 bikes ive used it on.

No more hate. My roommate has the new style and it is HIGH quality.
