nope, I\'d just be a \'little\' easier about overheating it.

\r\nI painted my entire motor, top and bottom end, it\'s a 108cc stroked honda. Now that it\'s summer, I just make sure not to say, hold it at redline for 5 minutes straight, or sit there doing burnouts forever standing still or what not..
\r\nI still rip it hard, and I haven\'t see any problems yet. Stunting and trail riding in 95f heat. I wanna get an oil cooler though just for peace of mind.

\r\nMy friend actually just got an infared pyrometer from work, I wanna run my bike hard as hell for like 20 minutes, then ride to his house WOT the whole way, then check the head/cylinder temp and oil temp... Just haven\'t done it yet\r\n

\r\n \r\n On my engine, I used duplicolor 500f engine paint.

\r\nI also primed my bottom end with regular old duplicolor self etching primer, however its not rated for high heat.. I heard people had no problems running that primer on water cooled motors, so I figure it \'might\' hold up on this one, but air cooled motors DO run a LOT hotter then water cooled (water cooled will typically run at 180 and max around 230 ish) air cooled will run regularly in the 200-250 range and can break 300f easily

\r\nSo far no issues with mine, it\'s holding up great.

\r\nI didn\'t use any primer however on my cylinder or head, as I was worried it would bubble off...\r\n

\r\n \r\n When I redid my bike this year, I had a blown motor already (ran out of oil), so I was already tearing the motor down to replace the crank/cylinder/piston/valves/rockers/cam.. So while it was apart, I decided to paint the entire motor and the bike.

\r\nMy paint job is far from perfect though, I painted all my parts when it was like 30-40f outside... So it has some bad spots, and was hard to stop it from running, even with the lightest coats I could put.

Solid round bar bent to the shape od the tail and slid into the stock subframe and welded\r\n

bought em from a local shop a couple of years ago. I have not been able to find anyone selling them online.
