Abortion?

Ill let the conversation get a little more in depth before I go too much further, but here's my take: IMO, abortion should be a legal MEDICAL option for any woman looking to terminate a pregnancy within the 1st trimester for any reason whatsoever, without being harassed, "counseled", and made to wait a certain period after "counseling".

Late term abortions should be (medically) reserved for abortions to save the mothers life, victims of rape and/or incest, or still birth babies in which the mother does not wish to continue the pregnancy.

Next time your judgement guides you to say "there's no reason to kill a baby" try to think about all the children born today, that are neglected, starved, abused and even killed because the parent is not capable of caring for them, or does not want them. Think of the physical, emotional, and mental pain they will endure. Now ask yourself at what age your very first memory was formed, and if it wasn't in the womb....well, I think you can figure the rest out.

I heard about that. That is just fucking ridiculous!!!!

In some cases, abortions are used for the right reason but in some it's mis-used. There are some people I see with kids and the only thought I can think of is, "These people should not have a kid. They can't even take care of themselves."

For example, my girls sister has I think 6 kids with 5 different men. My mother-in-law was giving full custody of 4 of them. I offered to adopt the oldest boy and still would love to have him living with me. She is a prime example of someone who should not have kids or should've had her tubes tied by the state. But that's just my opinion......

When I found out that I was pregnant, the words were "Get rid of it". I am not the only person in the world that has had to deal with that, but it scared the crap out of me. I had allt he info on all my three options:abortion, adoption, take care of my responsibility.

I never got the DS test because they stick a huge freaking needle in you and I really have a phobia for needles and they freak me out so I never had it done. Now, I also have a healthy five year old.

Now, almost 6 years after I found out I was knocked up, I have not seen the childs father in almost 5 of those years. I do not get child support and I don't really care at this point. I did have help when I was pregnant, but I don't now. The state of Illinois has a health care system that you can pay a monthly premium for childrens health insurance, which I do. I am taking care of my son because he is MY responsibility. I do not get food stamps, welfare, or any of that other crap. I went right back to work after he turned six weeks and I paid 185.00 a week for daycare. But at the time, I had to move back home into my moms house and no one wants to hire a 6 month pregnant woman for any job. I may be unemployed right now, but I still pay for everything, I don't get jack crap from the government.

Now on the subject, i have a second cousin of some relation that has sex for crack and keeps having babies. They need to kill her reproductive organs.

No, but an oven and a woman's body/womb share no comparison whatsoever.

Can you give birth to a child? If the answer is no, and you've gotten a woman pregnant, that makes it her baby / decision until the day it's born. You have zero rights until then. We can all agree this isn't fair, but it will never change in the United States, ever.

Whether it's murder or not depends on the definition of life.

Wait now your classifying abortion as murder? So in your opinion, the lady that stuck her 7 day old child in the microwave is as guilty of commiting murder as the girl that makes the responsible decision for whatever reason not to have a child?

Surely abortion isn't murder. It is ending a life, prior to its existence. H2 said it best... The most unfortunate thing is the people who should really take advantage of abortion, can't because of the cost. Hence why so many addicts aren't waiting in line to spend 2k having an abortion... They will just use that 2k on drugs and FUCK the unborn child up
