My father had a boat that would actually jump itself out of the water. It probably could have done this if we were stupid enough to try it. It was a 14' Checkmate with a 175 HP outboard. You'd blip the throttle to get it up then let it bury the nose and hit the throttle hard again. Nothing would be touching but the prop.
