okay i had an 09 stunter and ill give you a little rundown, shelby rocks a flow weld cage and is sponsored by them.......they bend and tweek so with that said they are cheap and dude will prolly throw you one to try....
impaktech is tight to the bike and really nice looking cage, but the top floating slider is the down fall on it. on the 03-04 636 it top tube is the motor mount but on the 09 the bottom slider tube is the motor mount so yes the top is free floating and the bolts dont bolt through the motor it threads into like f4i's so its easy to rip them out and cave in the frame with the top tube.......from what i hear your a killer and prolly wont fuck with you. Put one good pancake on the impaktech in the lot like a hc highside will fuck it up. So good luck FI sucks all around for anybike -zak- had one on his 09 and fucking threw it in the garbage, cant load the bike in the truck, busted case covers, ripped oil plug out. No other companies but sick make a cage i have not ran or nor has anyone i know ran it.... GOOD LUCK

Thanks I really like the look of the Impakteck especially how tight it is to the bodywork on the 09, my team mate has one on his 09. And we've been buying alot of cages from him recently, and hes been great as far as price and service goes. My other team mate the rides an 05/06 got one too and it sucks for him because the bar that goes accross to the other side is too low on the 05/06 and bottoms out on drifts...It has sent him flying off the bike a few times already because hes not used to the limitation...I dont think that is a problem on the 09 because its higher up and futher back...
I did wonder about that floating slider at the top, it looked like a good idea to prevent roll overs, but I wondered what it would take to make it start to bend inwards. My buddy is still babying his 09 so he hasnt dropped it hard enough yet to find out... I think Im going to go with the Impaktech and just modify the cross bar to go infront or behind my aftermarket headers... Im not a killer, but I dont drop my bikes as hard as I used too. And this bike is going to be more of a street killer and show bike. This is my team mates 09 with the Impaktech

bike looks dope but it still drags on drifts so dont be suprised but like i said youll prolly be fine.....for a street killing bike I love the 09's but i hate how chincy they are.....also i need a fuckin stay asshoe so send me one LOL

I run Impacktech on the 09, biggest issue I had was when it drops with all sliders intact it will take off on you..... and not in a circle. First drop on mine it shot Str8 across a parking lot into a curb. I had to put super long sliders on the rear that keeps the wheel off the ground.
I haven't really dropped the bike hard so can't really say on its durability. Looks sweet tho. Impacktech subcages 2up 2back is where its at if u go that route. You making stays yet?

I Emailed F.I about Tony Cabrajals cage, because I noticed that he had an extra slider above the motor mount like the Impaktech...And after getting a quote on getting that cage made, its off my list...LOL
Almost $400 is just too much for what they are giving you IMO "We can make that style for you but it's an additional $112.00. If you want that style cage the cost to your door is $381.95. The normal cage for that bike is 269.95 to your door."

I will be running the Impaktech on my 09 and just dont plan on tossing salads cuz these newer bikes are BRITTLE...cages dont prevent crashes and frames dont break themselves..
