bike repo question
#1
so the bank is trying to repo my bike cuz i was two months behind only 200 dollars and wont let me pay it up to date they only want the bike or the full amount.

my question is has anyone ever just gave a bank the frame and keep the rest and just get a new frame?

i know i have to pay the diff once they sell it wondering what else would happen if i did this

As long as you don't keep the bike outside and don't hand it over to the repo man it will be hard for them to get it. Maybe 4 months down the road the bank will agree to take payments up to date when they can't get it.

My friend stripped his down and handed over whatever wouldnt sell.

Just dont plan on getting a loan again anytime soon.

they told me they would press federal theft charges if they couldnt find it and have a court order for me to give it to them.

i just cant go with out a bike i ride it almost everyday i would freak out if i couldnt ride and i already have another frame for it.

not worried about getting a loan my credit is already bad

I would send them a check in the mail and then wait to see if they cash
it, Once they do your loan is caught up and they have to call off the repo
People. Also once the check is Posted then call them for a confirmation
that your account is Paid up to date...

Record your next convo and send it to me I'll tell you if it's illegal and if it is you'll get that debt taken away
