3 mil seems to be the magical number, but shit can still happen and people will go after whoever is involved. Rider, and business insurance. Nobodys ass is truely covered if something goes down

very true...lawyers now days will figure out how to get the most from who has the most! i think the dealership's policy is very cautious because a co-worker flipped a rhyno in the past and broke his leg and sued for lots of money!!! even though it was the employees fault for jackin around in the parking lot on a company unit.

I have 2 mill and it's never been a prob. I also include that coverage as a part of my show pricing, just lik everything else. I get it cheap bc we pre buy it pretty much and I do a lot of shows. Show fee gets whittled down pretty fast when you factor in insurance, travel, MC, wear and tear, and managerial fees...thats why it's stupid to undercut shows. You get what you pay for.
And dan, dude was looking for a way out for sure.

Funny, this topic was going to be my first article in Stunt Ride magazine....
Without ruining the article, you can get insurance for as low as 200 a WEEK.
Sooooooo many people think its so much money, well back when AC did Warp Tour in 06 I had to shell out 50k for insurance, that was about 900-1200 a date, well there was fucking 58 dates...so it was expensive. Since then I have been able to figure out what to legally do with policy's, and spend little money doing it.
So look for my banging ass XXX xtreme in yo face (insert tacky wana-be cool words here) article in the next issue of Stunt Ride.
Just a quick thing to point out, you should always put Demonstration, not Stunt Show on your policy. A stunt show is a man on fire jumping into a box of fireworks in front of a crowd at the local fair before getting dowsed with fire extinguishers. A demonstration is YOU showing people how to manipulate and demonstrate the different moves on a basically stock motorcycle. There i just lowered your policy by 900, now you can afford tickets to the Justin Bebier concert so you can molest your 12 year old cousin Amy.

yeah...but your not a drill team...so... if you injure someone or ruin the riding area, insurance isnt going to cover it and your shit out of luck. Hell you could say you are a professional Yodeler (yes is real thing that gets coverage) you can get a 2 mil policy for 75 bucks. But you are going to have a tough time explaining why a motorcycle face planted a group of handicapped kids...
