F4i 2nd Idle Mod Install and Clean Air Mod Pics

Awesome write.up man! Already did kleen air on my bike but wish this sticky was here back then! Would have saved me numerous searches here and on SL.

Then on the debate of the stock idle adjuster. I took out my throttles the other day for a cleanout as they where a bit dirty. I checked where the stock idle cable pushes and its on a plate that is directly connected and part of the choke system. I pushed it all the way in with my finger and checked the butterflys for any movement! I swear they did not even move a thou of a millimeter! I'm sure someone like OMR or the other big names can agree on this perhaps? Just wanted to throw in my feelings. Just to clarify it was also on a 01 F4i.

Still need to do 2nd idle mod but can't get round to it. I'm gonna use a speedometer cable and get a screw attached to that. Its a tad longer than the 900 idle cable and very direct but will see how it turns out! Again great writeup!

Should you set the stock(wax) idle cable to 1300 befor you remove the throttle stopper? Or do you just back the 2nd idle cable out untill the stock idle catches then adjus?

Back the 2nd idle cable out untill you hear no change. Then adjust your stock to around 1300. Never touch the stock again, just adjust from the 2nd cable from then on.

quetion, what u guys do with the valve? leave it bolted up and plugged in, or unplugg it and take it off? dont kno if it will set a code if unplugged

Can someone help me out here, Im trying to find an 'idle cable' so I can do the sencond idle mod but I am having no luck, Im searching 'Honda Idle cable' or 'Idle cable'. No luck, what should I be looking for or anyone know where I can get one.
