\r\n \r\n theyre pumping it to barges so they can process it and continue to make money, i know alot about this, and they cant use concrete that deep because itll crystalize just like the dome they tried to use. theyre gonna try to use golf balls and old tire pieces cut up to try to plug it. i have a meeting on this every night on the new "solutions". i am in the coast guard and have to just sit by and watch as bp and our government just like to try new things and many people have to clean up everyday and are losing business because of it. im not saying i know the solution.\r\n

\r\n \r\n if they could get a hose inside the old hose why cant they get a plug in the other hoses that are still leaking ?

\ni know the one they got the new hose in is still leaking but at least stop the others ..

\nand to be honest i dont see why they cant stop the first hose from leaking , i mean they already have a hose in it why not use that hose as a guide for a clamp to seal the two hoses together ?\r\n

\r\n \r\n My company makes up to 52" steel pipes for natural gas line. pressure tested would handle that deep. don\'t see why they don\'t drive some of our pipe around the whole thing and start a big ass tube to suck it out of.\r\n
