Jeez, thats crazy. IVe seen the actual contact points on pads crumble from being old but never seen the entire pad snap! I dont think being in rain for a few days should make them do that. They are designed to withstand the elements, especially being an EBC product

this is why they failed imo. they looked like they where rusted and had water on em. water probably absorbed into them and they failed.

heal up homie. thats g shit you walked right to your bike and picked it up.

I bought a bunch of used f4i parts off a guy local too me and with it was 8 sets of pads i run quad/single caliper but the handbrake is just a quad any ways i pop in a set of these brand new pads after maybe a day or two of riding i get home park go to ride the next day unload bike at the lot pump brakes a few times and there no pressure pads were literally gone just the metal backs were left over. i get home and they are sitting on the floor in shed. i said fuck it a bad set put in another (new) set its a monday i ride out to hooters and once again after i finish eating go out to the bike ride down the street and there's no brake once again. I ride back to hooters and bam pads are sitting on the ground in the hooters lot. i called ebc and apparently the pads all dated back 6 years just glad i didnt end up with a shattered foot. Any one else had this issue?
