I didn't feel like waiting for a new tool for the forks, so I machined one up quickly at my friends shop. It worked and I was able to disassemble the forks, now I can re-anodize the tubes and caps black to get rid of the gold and red. I will also be sending the legs out to be DLC coated black, and powder coat the bottoms white.
![]() Today was the Toronto motorcycle show, I went and got a nice poster from the kawasaki booth. They still can't give me the part number for the ohlins damper though. If anyone works at a dealer is able to get the part number I would really appreciate it! ![]() While I was at the bike show I met a local racer in the parking lot to buy a used full titanium Akrapovic system. It was off his B bike so I'm really happy it is in great condition and barely used. Not a bad price for the condition at $800. I also sold the stock gold rotors to another racer for $120 at the same time so not a bad day at all!
