2003 636 Idle Problem

If you or someone you know has a power probe or a dmm I'd now break out the wiring diagram and make sure you have power and ground where you should but I guess you already checked grounds. The power probe has a chordless short finder that works magic. Also what if the rectifier is beginning to fail

I have the same exact problem and I changed everything the motor came out of a good running bike. Just built my Twite frame bike lol I

I just put a new frame on too! THAT'S IT!!!! HA!

I'm starting to think more and more I need to re-map air/fuel curve because of the head work. My logic is this: ported/polished head means air is moving through the system faster.

Dyno time. Probably check out a Power Commander.

other people are having the same problem with stock motors though. any changes or checks to the safety circuits like the side stand or clutch switch? seen a few gsxrs rattle at certain rpms, activating the switch.

I have never seen or heard of something on this magnitude. The video does no justice to the problem. Besides, I have changed every piece of electrical in the system (both of those switches are bypassed anyways).

Going to PC3 and Dyno. That should provide answers. If not, to the dumpster!

i hope not....i havent even turn my bike on since my Twite frame install hahah im keepin my fingers cross

Retune and remap is what it sounds like.. ...Especially with the head being worked on
