That\'s nothing there are actually hundreds of them in Daytona that do this every year. Just go down the street at Hess gas station at night and watch them shut the whole parking lot down until every bike is checked. If any of your bikes got stolen you would not be saying FTP
\r\n \r\n
\r\n
I agree.
\r\n
\r\nYou guys know how many bikes are stolen at Daytona Bike Week every year?!?! If you\'re legit, yeah I can see your side and say its BS. But if you\'ve ever had a bike stolen, and they found your bike there, would you still be saying that\'s BS???
\r\n
\r\nI was told a couple years ago that if you ever go down there, your bike better be legit cuz the cops are always walking down the streets checking random bikes.
\r\n
\r\nDon\'t run a stolen frame or motor and you got nothing to worry about.\r\n

Then what the law states is that you need to bring the frame to Highway Patrol with your paperwork, have it verified, and they will issue you a VIN #.\r\n

I totally understand you guys point of view... all my bikes and parts are clean and I\'m not in florida soo I\'m personally okay, but I have had a truck stolen before and the cops didn\'t do shit to find it.... I acually found it my self the next day...
\r\n
\r\nThe point I want to make for sake of discussion would be where\'s the probably cause that justifies the search at an event like xdl.... maybe the tech inspection should involve some kind of inspection for the bikes used in these comp... just cause there is a lot of bike stolen down there doesn\'t mean every one of the thousands down there are... and I doubt they try very hard in returning stolen property... probably just goes to an auction where its bought parted out and sold back to use over the internet peices at a time...\r\n
