Some very sage advice indeed. Yep. Stunting is confidence and practice, practice, practice, practice and more practice. Go with whatever technique is most comfortable for you to promote maximum confidence, but don\'t forget to have MUCHO FUN.
\n
\nAs for the aspect of discouraging and negative behavior, as Frank Sinatra once said, "the best revenge is massive success".

I was waiting for Alie to chime in. she\'s a good person to listen to. I haven\'t riden with the other girls, but they have offered good advice....
\n
\n I am not a big fan of getting a 50 first. They are 2 completely different bikes. Would you buy a set of bongo\'s because someday you wanted to learn how to play the drums? Are they similar? Yes, but most of what you do on a 50 is very different on a big bike. Look for an F4i to start, I am a Kawi fan now, but the Honda\'s have a nicer balance point and are a bit more durable than the Kawi\'s.
\n
\nAlso, I am sure that there are some real stunters that live near you that would jump at the chance to help you out. Watch out for squids though. Ride only with quality riders and you will gain a lot in a short time.
\n
\nRemember 2 things..... Rear Brake saves all and take baby steps......\r\n

i learned on a big bike first but also had my first serious injury within a month of learning. Pancaked the bike on its side and crushing my foot along with it. 3 fractures and 15+ stitches, 4 months recovery and i still refused to learn on a small bike.
\nWith all of that said i do think there are benefits to learning on small bikes and recommend a 100 or something comparable. A friend started riding the exact same time as me on a 100, learned all the basics and then some and when he converted to the big bike he picked all the tricks right up.
\nEither way, remember to take your time and tell all the guys that rush you or say you suck and try to discourage you to fuck off.

\r\n \r\n buy a klx 110 and put bars on it. wheelie that, and when you can get to the point where you pop a wheelie around 20mph or so and come to a complete stop on a wheelie from good brake control, then your ready for a big bike. need to get use to that feeling at balance point and combining it with brake control. my 1 cent\r\n
