same way racebikes handle 10-16k rpms all day at a track, motors will take a beatin before much happens. see a lot of wheelie machines usein honda bikes cuz the motors run forever

Ive tried a few wheelymachines, and the best ones had a good adjustable brake on the rolls. without a good adjustable brake the wheelymachine doesnt work. but it will never be like the real deal..

I dont wanna discourage you from building it but just realize there is alot more to it then just a big roller on a platform.
Reason I say that is because my FSAE team is designing and building a dyno right now. There's alot more engineering to it then you would think. Weve made full catia designs and analyzed the heck out of every little part and component. 200lb steel roller spinning at a few thousand RPM's causes alot of vibrations and any small imbalance can really mess it up. Actually a pretty cool project but we've spent countless hours on it. Dyno/wheelie machine is similar principal. Big giant roller spinning at a few thousand rpms.
