\r\n \r\n Just helped a buddy instal his dcp rad cage and we used the stock Aluminum bracket to secure the cage to the block. There was no steel support bracket that bolts to the block...
\n636 \n \n \nMy $.02, I wasn\'t impressed with the dcp cage.... I wouldn\'t run one unless they are improved.\r\n

\r\n \r\n NOTHING IS MISSING! DCP sends you a support and lower arm for the bottom, the base of said arm is bolted to your engine block. you have broken the arm that connects to the lower support clean off, not DCP.. YOU..\r\n

\r\n \r\n um, look, Im not trying to start shit here. I did not receive that lower arm, thus I did not break it off. I broke off the old stock one a long time ago. That piece that you see bolted to the block is from the stock aluminum one. Never received the one I was supposed to. How can you guys not understand this? I did not get the part! I did not mistakenly throw it away! DCP responded once to my first email and said they would send me one right away, but was never able to get any other responses or anything!! That was over a month ago. I think the DCP cage is cool, but I want the whole Fing thing if Ima pay 85 dollars! I shouldnt be missing shit, and my radiator should not need to be ziptied and still be bending!\r\n

\r\n Thats info you should have included, if you had no clue till now dcp should have send you one cant fault for wondering why a broken tab is present in your pics. the top tab cracked because your piece broke, cant fault dcp for you zip tie the rad up and there piece breaking. if you contacted ted and he blew you off i assume your up the creek. Dcp customer service has declined alot in the recent months.\r\n

\r\n i think hes tryin to say if he did have that lower bracket the cage would\'ve not broke on the top either, so dcp should send him a whole new cage WITH the lower bracket and stop slackin on CS !\r\n

\r\n i dont think that lower bracket comes with the dcp you are suppose to use the stock one so therefore its not there problem. His lower bracket broke causing the cage to fail not dcp fault he should have known that there was suppose to be a bracket there Quote: \r\n

\r\n what...that\'s retarded.... when you buy a product you expect it to come with all hardware and parts !!! thats like selling you shoes with no shoestrings.... the guy just didn\'t know he was suppose to have shoestrings in this case and his shoes ripped up. now he finds out the guy sold him shoes but wansn\'t the full package. if its me I\'ll be asking for another pair of shoes and strings this time Quote: \r\n

\r\n \r\n Id just make one out of a piece of steel and fix it instead of waiting to be sent one. Itll be alot quicker.\r\n
