no one said it was easy, but the formula is certainly there. i know about struggle as much as anyone in here, i\'ve been doing this for a dozen years and started out with zero. outside the US it is def more difficult, but not iimpossible, especially with social media and in general, the internet. its NOT about XDL only, and nor should it be even for male riders...XDL is a proving grounds for sure and is def a part of being successful but no one will be successful in the sport solely with one outlet.

\ni have a hard time filming/getting pics of myself but, at the same time, i work a full time job every single day and work every single weekend riding. it\'s more than possible to be in the boondocks with virtually nothing and still make a name for yourself with the available tools in the world. look at rafal or jorian, both those guys have a pretty large international following but don\'t travel the world competing (minus rafal these past few months); and that is due to word of mouth, vids, pics, etc.

\na hobby is fine, that\'s what it is to many people, myself included at times...my big comment is really wondering why no girls are really stepping up in ALL areas: riding, social media, vids, pics, etc

\nthe \'top spot\' is there to be taken since jessica maine left the scene...and that was a few years ago.

\nc\'mon ladies, step up, promote yourself, the sport and keep pushign the sport. you guys are so far behind the men it\'s redic but not because of lack of information or skill, more so because (imo) lack of motivation, desire, balls, determination, etc.

\nthis thread is not intended to be negative. quite the opposite in fact, as i think that women can help grow the sport, and in the end we ALL should be helping to grow the sport, not only to make it better (and more opportunities for everyone) but for the self satisfaction of improving what\'s around you and being a part of a movement - that\'s a lot more than most of the sheeple in the world can say for themselves.\r\n
