Well I have a security type career in mind, my uncles been working private security overseas for awhile now and hes currwntly down in south america. The pay seems really good and I wouldnt mind it really. Never been in a combat zone but im sure id get the proper training. The way I look at it is, theres always going to be conflict in the world and who knows what the rest of the economy will be like 4 years from now. I wouldnt want to put in my 4 years and end up stuck where im at now in life ya know.. Plus now that I have a kid on the way I need to make a better future for my family\r\n

Unless you go SF or some secret squirrel shit or as a pilot, there is nothing cool nowadays. There isnt a whole lot of action going on unless you get unlucky and put it a hot province in one of these two countries. But that change slike girls tampons. Was in East Afghanistan one year when it wasnt very hot, and now that it is hot im in the west.....

no worries man, I appreciate the advice.. I figured my felony would affect my clearence and from my understanding as long as its not a violent/drug related offense it was waiverable. spoke with a marine recruiter a few years ago and he made it pretty clear that they wouldnt take me.

Idk, my brother is 31, and in 11 years he\'ll be retiring with a fat pension. In September he will be transferring to Quantico, VA where he will be on the Presidential Squadron HMX-1. That\'s pretty fuckin\' cool if you ask me.
