Just got the new HTC Sensation 4G

\r\n \r\n I almost got a Thunderbolt, but the battery life on them is supposed to be utter shit. Plus, I don\'t live in a 4G area and wont for at least a year, so I scooped an X2, rooted and de-bloated it as soon as I got home, and I fucking love it.

\nAs far as the unlimited data plans go, people that have them (like me, yay) are grandfathered in and not subject to the new tiered plans. They\'ve even said that people currently on unlimited can upgrade to newer phones without being forced onto a tiered plan, but they said that was a temporary thing. Any NEW plans are forced into tiered plans. Sucks for them.

\nAny of you Android peeps that want a hacked/modified version of the Pandora app that gets rid of the ads and gives you unlimited skips? Right this way...

everywhere i roll is 4G and the battery life on the T-bolt is better than my wives Droid X on the GB update(which eats teh battery life) been trying to find a root for it but no luck\r\n

see i had a repossesion so i had\\have bad credit. so i\'ve been getting that straightened out and had a tmobile flexpay account (think prepaid but with rate plans instead of prepay cards) which had unlimited data. well now that i switched to a postpay plan aka big boy cell plan. i lose the unlimited and have to get into a tiered. which if i had known that i wouldnt have switched. so now im stuck... big boy plan (yay) with shittier service (boo) new bling bling phone (yay) with throttled bandwidth for upto 72 hours til the fix it(boo) so right now im bummed i switched. im gonna go in the store and either give em this phone back or get grandfathered into unlimited data\r\n

None of AR has it (surprise surprise). And yeah, the GB update wasn\'t ready to go out. They\'re supposed to roll out 2.3.4 soon (current GB is 2.3.3) that should fix a lot of that. Plus, us X2 users should be getting it in the next few weeks (I know they\'re about to start updating a few test groups), but, honestly, I\'ll stick with my rooted, de-bloated, supercharged FroYo til they get root on GB before I update.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Yeah, well that was my first experience with really dealing with Android updates. and very very disappointed. Can\'t even figure out how to get it SBK\'d right to Froyo... alot of people having issues going back. and no root for GB. Then my stock rom for the TB was so shotty... i\'m done with Androogle. soon as a new iPhone comes out I\'ll be all over Steve Jobs\' nuts.\r\n

That was fast... apparently i\'ve gone over 5gb of 4g data in 6 fucking days. there is NO fucking point of having this phone if i cant use it for home wifi. so i called sprint truely unlimited 4g data for as part of their 99 unlimited everything program. So we\'ll see whats up tomorrow\r\n
