Ok so we have options for judging: (Possibility of Guest judge on both options)

What would be the most likely to please everybody and be fair & fun for the croud & riders ?

Option 1

Judging will be a total score from 3 technical judges and a score from the croud measured by a mounted Decibel Meter. That way each judge will have 25% influence and the croud will too.

Option 2

3 judges deciding who wins out of each round.


One thing for sure is during the individual battle the riders and the croud will know who's winning and who is losing the whole time after each round.

I think it sux at past events i've been to that you don't know what's going on till it's all over.

what about a points style system? I'm sort of a newb but I heard something about that idea based on the XSBA system and there was a lot of ideas right around stuntwars timeframe. Technical ability, repitition, overall, creativeness, execution of tricks, all around tech ability....stuff like that.

that's just me shooting from the hip. I'd like to see what Legion, T Neck and The Salesman have to say...as well as the OG Thomas.

Yeah that's what we were lookin to do with the Technical judges. They would have a score "checklist" for each rider.
 
What about the croud participation in score? With a meter that is...

It throws in a different element. If it's not a "stunt" crowd, the guys will have to probably do more acros, burnouts, and high speed tricks. But if it's a crowd that knows what to look for...combo circles and long endos will do well. It's your show bro.
Might be able to get a portion of the scoring as the crowd participation, like 1-10 for loudness of the crowd right after someone finishes their run.

If the croud doesn't know what to look for then they will like that stuff. The croud could count for 25% of the total score.

But, if the judges dont like the run as much, then that will bring the total down.

The juges would have a 1-10 vote.
The DB meter would probably have no more than about a 100 db reading on a loud croud. devide that by 10.

Best possible score would be : 40
10 judge 1
10 judge 2
10 judge 3
10 Croud

That way it all evens out.

I'm just trying to get everyones input so it will be fun and fair for everybody.

I would also like the croud to feel involved and to get into it.

Sounds like you have a solid plan going already. Did you post this up on stuntlife? you might get haters but the serious pros would also have good inputs.

Yeah it's on every board I know of as of today.

I'm not stuck on this plan it's just been in my head and I wanted to explain.

I want it to be reconized as a serious comp this year and next year and hopefully years to come......
