the aprilia sxv's run a 1/2 alum 1/2 steel frame, and its an interference fit pressed together deal. This at least has some bolts. I would def consider buying this frame. From what ive seen all the 636 frames brake in the front anyway. Why spend the extra $1000 bucks for the whole steel frame, im sure this will work just as well and be easier on the pockets. Plus i think it looks gangster as shit!!!

The whole steel one is fucking gangster and on another level..but personally i wouldnt run this design.

Several companies use this same design for their frames, including Ducati, Aprilia, and Bi Moto. We're not re-inventing the wheel, just making it affordable.

everyone should buy one, for this reason alone.

its half the price of the all steel. and almost the same price as a stock frame w a clean title. if i had a cracked frame i would definately go this route.

now theres a gangster fuckin idea! $1k is deff a lil more affordable and like darrick said, a clean title frame will run you about that much anyway so why not go with something strong! this is the route ill go if and when my frame cracks.

just curious, can you run plastics with these frames?

Excellent idea Twite! The weakness of the frame is between the front motor mount and forks anyways... the engine is plenty enough reinforcement btween the front motormount and the rear of the frame too! Cost is awesome as well!
