The indicator is an LED i think, so that would rule out power going the wrong way through it.
The high beam switch is a dead end when on Lo, so thats easy to rule out.
The headlight relay does have a full time power source going to it, but even if the relay failed, that power wouldnt go out the white wire.

Are you 100% sure you have the different sub-harnesses plugged in to teh right spots? There are 3 of them with 12 pin plugs and 2 of those 3 have the same color plug if i recall.

yes the plugs all look right, i have the tip sensor wires cut on the main harness side and spliced together...... would that affect anything????
