Yeah I used a rectangular 1/2" 572 grade steel and cut it to sit ontop of that lower lip and flush with the frame. the lip should keep it from spinning right? seemed pretty solid when I had it mounted earlier, but guess I could take it to work and spot weld it after its on\r\n

\r\n | \r\n \r\n \r\n When u make that lift for ur shock, u needa weld ur 1/4 square to the original mount on left n right side cus it butts against the lip on the frame and if u just slap a washer or spacer in the shock will spin around and rip ur hose off.. I hada redo mine when someone told me bout it, I looked at mine and sure enough it was turned almost 90 degress already. I grinded the head off the original mount and put a new bolt 3/4in longer thru and spot welded it in and grinded it to clear the top of shock. Then made my spacer out of 1/2in steel and welded down both sides. Its super solid and bike sits more like a 636 or 600rr now. \r\n \r\n | \r\n
