\r\nI know for sure for example, the 600rr engine number is in front of the rear shock. I\'ve taken bikes to the DMV and the inspectors there had no idea where the engine number was. I had to try to show him, he still couldn\'t see it, and I ended up reading the number to him. LOL. But on the 600rr it does have another set of numbers but that may be what you were talking about with the batch number.\r\n

ALL motors have their own number. Some people do get confused cuz there are 2, what looks to be motor numbers. (Not sure if ALL motors have 2 sets but every older bike I\'ve seen does). Quote:
