or the 1" raised pad from HT MOTO is what i have and i feel very secure in the tank at bp


also use a heavy object like stuntbums did, focus the major blows on the area you want to be lowest but stay over the cap. a rubber mallet kept alot of paint on and i had no creases in my dent at all.
