first of all let me say I do not have the narden link, but wish I could afford one. I do have my tail raised so I can tell you about that.
your tall so it might not be as benificial to you, but for me it helps a ton, in fact, it completely changes the feel of the bike makes you way higher up in relation to the handlebars, kinda like a 636, giving you way more leverage on the bars for O's in such, shorter distance for jump to 50/HC, raises pegs too, giving more distance between you n the bike in RL's/BSRL's.(wow that was a very long sentence, haha) all in all I see only positives, no downsides at all.
Im short too, 5'6", I can bearly flatfoot stock, I raised mine a lot, forgot to measure before, but now the top on my bar, which is just past the sub, is 42 inch, it'd be even taller if bar was the same lenght as stock tail.(think I heard stock is @ 37-38, but also depends on lenght of bar. Now, with it raised, even to flat foot one foot I have to hang my ass off the side of the bike, haha but I see no problem with that, I mean how often are your feet down? not very often at all if you think about it.
