Stroke =the distance from the center of the crank to the connecting rod journal ..if you change that distance with a different crank /rods you can make the displacement larger or smaller. Which leads to why I asked, a destroked motor in theory should be easier to turn in. I like to cut hard into my circles, but if Apex says the effects are negligible I will go with that knowing that he rode a duc that has a large stroke he would be able to say. anyone who has rode a vtwin can tell you how much the gyroscopic forces affect your style
